Job Summary
As Unitech’s Junior Systems Administrator you will be the driving force behind user and account management, hardware and inventory management, end-user training, and all aspects of tech support, you will play a key role in supporting our operations. Your work will be guided by our core values, helping to foster and promote our commitment to Collaborative Construction through our Proven Process. By doing so, you will enable project teams to mitigate client risk, maximize value, and exceed expectations. This role will report to the Systems Administrator.
Junior System Administrator’s critical expectations will include, but are not limited to:
- IT support and Infrastructure management
- IT knowledge transfer and continuous training of all staff
- Maintain accurate record of all accounts and hardware
- Set up and deploy new and replacement hardware
- Ensure optimal technology usage on construction projects
Qualifications
- University Degree or College Diploma in Information Technology an asset
- 1-2+ Years’ equivalent experience in Information Technology positions
- Fluent in English with strong written, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employment and other designated information
- Results driven. Ability to effectively manage time, responsibilities, and priorities
- Working knowledge with various technologies i.e. Windows, Exchange Online, Hardware repairs etc.
- Ability to work efficiently with a service-oriented, do what it takes attitude
- Courteous, tact and diplomacy under stressful situations with constant interruption
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across diverse personalities and organizational roles
